What data is collected about me, and why?
Service-facilitating data
When you add firmware assets on the Deploy The Fleet application, Deploy The Fleet stores them on Deploy The Fleet servers. The data is associated with your Deploy The Fleet account. When the data is stored in the Deploy The Fleet server, Deploy The Fleet encrypts it in transit and at rest so that other people, including the server administrators, can not see the contents of the data. The Deploy The Fleet servers use the data to provide OTA (over-the-air updates) and other device fleet services.
Data is also collected about your fleet of devices such as how many devices are connected to the service, what firmware versions they are running, and when they last checked in. This data is associated with your Deploy the Fleet account and visible to you within the app.
Your firmware assets are yours and yours alone. Deploy the Fleet is just here to help get them to your devices.
Firmware assets stored on Deploy The Fleet are encrypted at rest and always delivered over secure HTTPS connections. The service does not and will not share client firmware assets with any outside party and will not, in any way, attempt to reverse engineer or extract data from those firmware assets.
